This is the first Linux course for people who have little or no experience and knowledge about the operating system. It is also a good course for those who want to review the basic Linux commands and how-to’s in case they have not used or installed Linux in a while. Upon finishing this course, students will become comfortable with the Linux environment and installation of other Linux based applications.


Audience

Students with little or no Linux knowledge or prior experience, or students who want to build user-level skills before getting deeper into Linux systems and network administration.


Prerequisites

User-level experience with any computer systems and an ability to use operating systems in standard desktop or workstation environments.
